A Message From Your Preschooler During our day, we learn and play. Sometimes we get messy, and that's okay. Please send extra clothes we can keep on hand. So if I paint or play in the sand And make a mess on clothes I wear Then I'll have extra clothes to spare! |

St. Peter's Rainbow Preschool provides a Christ-centered education, beginning and ending each day with prayer. The purpose of Rainbow Preschool is to foster the whole child educationally, spiritually and emotionally. This is accomplished by integrating the Christian faith into every aspect of the curriculum and activities of the school. Our Educational philosophy is based on the belief that children learn about their physical and social worlds through playful interactions with objects and people. Research shows that children learn best through direct hands-on experiences with their environment using all their senses. The children at Rainbow Preschool will be actively involved in an environment that provides stimulating and challenging materials and activities that are carefully planned by our staff. Our Curriculum consists of learning centers, play-based and Christian, with academic challenges for school readiness, and weekly Bible Stories. The maximum class size is 16 children in our 4 year old classrooms, 12 children in our 3 year old classrooms, and 6 chidlren in our 2 year old classrooms. With 2 teachers per classroom, plus a parent volunteer for adult/child ratio of 1:5. The Preschool is licensed under the Wisconsin Division of Children and Family Services. Our 4K program is taught by a State of Wisconsin licensed teacher. We have a highly qualified staff with early childhood teaching credentials, many years of training and experience. We also offer numerous opportunities for parental involvement.
